Australia experienced many bushfires through each state, starting in September 2019, with some of these fires burning for months before being extinguished. These fires were considered Mega fires in contrast to our usual yearly fires.

We have many trees and plants that rely on fires to germinate; we are lucky that our bushland is so resilient and will start to show new life within 4 to 6 weeks of a fire. This piece is based on the Emergence of life after our fires in Victoria of January 2020.
