An inspiring mix and match system of high quality cottons in varying hues and weights. Some beautifully reflective with a soft rich silk like sheen. The discerning artful designs suit both contemporary and traditional styles.. The quality range is exclusive, not mass produced.
Base cloths in various widths from 120cm to 140cm wide. Designs include Australia Botanicals, Egyptian Wall, Scenes and European Art Screens on Natural tones in single and duotone inks. Some printed as panels, others are continuous patterns.
The aim of this 6 hour project is to gain a heightened understanding of colour through a set of comprehensive and challenging exercises dealing with the use of colour in history, art, architecture, fashion and textile resulting in the creation of an individual and personal colour reference system applicable to textile art works and contemporary quilting projects.
This informative talk and presentation is a highlighted version of the colour workshop where groups will be introduced to useful design and colour concepts .He will show his hand printed textiles and a selection of artworks made from them.
